Gather
Today is an opportunity to make form time feel different and distinct. You could use this song, recorded by The choir and Mr Durnell to create an atmosphere in the room before the students come in. You could also use other instrumental music if you would prefer.
We begin our time together as we invite you to make the Sign of the Cross
R./ In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
The opening prayer can be led by anyone, yourself or a volunteer, you could even crate a rota for each week so everyone gets a turn.
Let us pray.
God of truth,
You made us to walk in the light of Your love and to live in honesty and trust.
When we are tempted to lie or hide from You, remind us that Your mercy is greater than our mistakes.
Help us today to face the truth with courage, and to become people who speak with honesty and act with love.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
The Word
Every time we come together we’ll explore a different part of God’s story, starting at the beginning and journeying through the year. Again, there is an opportunity for anyone who feels comfortable to read the scripture (image on the left) out loud.
You could then have a period of silence to think about what you’ve heard or discuss what you’ve read as a class.
After this, please use the suggested “Story” (Image on the right) to retell and reflect on the scripture, again anyone can read this out.

Response
Each week we’ll respond to the scripture in different ways – this week we’re going to be a little more reflective, so play the video below and follow along to explore this chapter of our story.
Mission
We’ve heard how we can live out our faith today in the video, think about what this might mean for you as we share the closing prayer – again anyone can lead this with the class
Let us pray.
Loving Father,
You saw Adam and Eve in their shame and still called out to them with care.
As we go from here, help us to step out of hiding and into Your forgiveness.
Give us strength to say sorry to those we’ve hurt, and to live in the truth that sets us free.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
